New Benefits Network Health Care Reform Product Ready to Roll Out Health care reform is upon us. Regulations under the new laws will continue to roll out in the coming months and years. It's estimated that for every one of the 2,400 pages of reform law, there will be 60 pages of regulations. How will businesses stay informed and perhaps more importantly, be compliant. Benefits Network has created "Your Compliance Express" to do just that. The product includes a proprietary health care reform website, ongoing health care reform email blasts, a health care reform resource binder, seminars and webinars, consulting, and an online resource called "compliancedashboard" that will walk you step-by-step through the process of being complaint, not just with each new reform regulation, but with all federal and key state regulations. Benefits Network is one of only a handful of insurance agencies that is compliant with Federal (Gramm Leach Bliley) and corresponding state privacy protection laws designed to protect clients and their employees from identity theft. Why is this important? Identity theft is America's fastest growing crime. One out of ten Americans has been victimized in the past five years. Billions are lost by businesses and consumers due to identity theft each year. Despite this reality, a recent survey by the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance indicated that most insurance agencies in Pennsylvania are not compliant and approximately 60% of respondents were unaware of the new privacy rules and had no written policies in place.
